Are You A Magnet or a Slingshot??
We all know that clients want to buy not be sold to. Even though it’s very tempting to explain every detail of what you’re offering sometimes less is more. As entrepreneurs we always tend to chase prospects even though it’s not our direct intention. We also know that the better value you deliver the more likely the sale will be smooth and easy.
With all of that being said, how do you position your marketing and selling sales process? Do you tend to push things toward someone or are you more magnetic and trying to attract the right clients to your fold. Even though in our service business we do follow ups with every estimate or lead we have we have never gotten a habit of chasing someone or the appearance of desperation.
Where do you feel you sit at when it comes to this, are you more direct in approach or are you more magnetic by making the value so great that it’s almost painful for them to turn it down. At all of our companies we tend to be more magnetic upfront however that being said following up to add value to a solution can also be a very successful direction to go in.
